(add salt and tamarind as per one's tastes)
Ingredients
grated coconut - 2 cups
chilli powder - 3 tablespoons
turmeric powder - half teaspoon
salt - as required
tamarind pulp - half cup
ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
curry leaves
chopped onion - 1 teaspoon
mustard seeds
oil
green chilli-3
chilli powder - 3 tablespoons

Directions
take a mixie and put the grated coconut,chilli
powder,turmeric powder,salt,ginger garlic paste,water (required for
making this a not-too-thick,not-too-loose paste)..mix it well and make a
paste..keep it aside..
put some tamarind in a cup of water and extract the tamarind paste..
take a pan and pour some oil and while its hot,put the mustard seeds and make them splutter.add the chopped onions and curry leaves and fry till brown..add the coconut paste..tamarind pulp as required..more salt if needed..cut the green chilly to half and add to this mixture in the pan..just heat the mixture.dont boil it..take off the flame and serve hot with rice..
