Rice Palada Payasam



  Rice Palada Payasam - Yummy Kerala payasam, very sweet and tasty, similar to Pal Payasam.

Ingredients:

Rice Ada - 150g
Milk - 1/2 litres
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
Cocoa Powder - 1 tbsp
Butter - 1 tbsp (unsalted)
Rice Palada Payasam
Method:
Boil 1 and a half litres of milk in a wide mouth thick bottom vessel.
 
Add the rice ada and sugar to the milk. Stir continuously until ada is cooked properly.
 
Add the cocoa powder also. Cook until the milk thickens. (about 25-30 min)
 
Add the cardamom powder and the butter. Mix well and serve.
